My name is Michael L. Ricketson, and I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. From 2003 to 2019 I lived in Springfield, Missouri, and recently moved back to Central Florida, where I work from home in Groveland in Lake County. My love of storytelling led me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. Early in 2016, I started writing freelance articles and blog posts for clients. Building upon my knowledge of creating engaging content, I took a position as Social Media Manager and Marketing Writer at No Worries, LLC. While there, I wrote social media posts and designed and implemented social media strategy for No Worries and its clients. I realized how exciting it is to help others tell their stories. Little did I know that a degree in creative writing would lead me to a career that I love. So, I decided to take my education to the next level and earn my master’s in public relations. Helping individuals and companies develop and maintain their brand image and voice is one of the best feelings I get working as a public relations professional. And because the digital age has changed how we communicate, our online presence is of the utmost importance. Businesses can now reach a worldwide audience with the click of the mouse. But it takes work. It can be overwhelming running a business and trying to juggle the internet and your online image. Let’s talk and see what solutions we can come up with.
